For over 30 years, the core business of Softing Industrial Automation has been industrial data communication.  Products now range from chips & stacks up to data transfer modules and recently cable certification and network test tools.

Softing acquired Psiber Data GmbH in 2014. Psiber Data sells cable testing products and the brand will transition to Softing in 2015. As of January 1, 2015, the company is operating as Softing Inc. in North America.
